La Quinta Inn And Suites In DTC Evacuated Due To Fire

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- A fire broke out at the La Quinta Inn and Suites near Interstate 25 and Arapahoe Road around 4:30 a.m. Saturday.
Fire officials say the fire broke out on the roof of the building.

All of the hotel guests were evacauted safely. Fire officials say some of the guests are being treated for smoke inhalation. Many of the evacuated residents are being housed at nearby hotels.
There is no word on how soon guests may be allowed back in the hotel.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
