Sheridan High School Teacher Arrested On Sexual Assault Charges
Teacher Allegedly Had Sexual Relationship With Student

DENVER -- A Sheridan High School teacher turned herself in to Denver police Wednesday night after she was accused of having a relationship with one of her male students.Denver police officers started investigating Melissa Snow, 27, after receiving a tip about her alleged involvement with one of her students, authorities said. During the investigation, officers found enough information to issue a warrant for arrest for sex assault by a person in position of trust and sex assault with a pattern of behavior.Denver police arrested Snow, an English teacher at Sheridan, because the alleged assault allegedly happened in Denver.
Snow posted $50,000 bond and was released from Denver County Jail following her arrest.
