DENVER -- It will be another chilly morning with temperatures in the upper 20s and low 30s across the eastern plains. A FREEZE WARNING is in effect for the metro area and most of northeastern Colorado until 9 a.m.Tuesday will start off mostly sunny in the metro area. While moisture from the south will bring the chance of a light rain/snow mix to southern Colorado, the metro area will just see an increase in cloud cover during the afternoon hours. This will keep temperatures from warming into the 60s. Highs on Tuesday afternoon will be in the mid to upper 50s across the metro area.
A ridge of high pressure will begin building into the region by midweek. Temperatures will slowly start to warm, with a return of the low 70s by Friday and Saturday. The weekend is shaping up to be a nice one, with fall-like temperatures and mostly sunny skies...Enjoy!
