UPDATED: 1:13 pm MDT October 7, 2008

Employees at the Colorado Democratic party arrived to shattered windows Tuesday morning.

"The Denver Police Department boarded the windows this morning," said Sherry Jackson, executive director for the Colorado Democratic Party.

"A brick was thrown through the front door," and a second brick through the window facing Eighth Street said Jackson. Three windows were broken, she said.

Jackson said no messages were attached to the bricks that would indicate the office was a target.

Police are still investigating the incident.
