DENVER -- Eagle county sheriff's deputies and the Colorado State Patrol are looking for the motorist who hit a child who was riding a bicycle last week.A spokeswoman for the sheriff's department said the child was riding south in a crosswalk at Grundel Way and Valley Road on Oct. 3 when the car hit the girl.The vehicle pushed the bicycle about 15 feet and then took off without even stopping to check on the child's condition.
