DENVER -- Eagle county sheriff's deputies and the Colorado State Patrol are looking for the motorist who hit a child who was riding a bicycle last week.A spokeswoman for the sheriff's department said the child was riding south in a crosswalk at Grundel Way and Valley Road on Oct. 3 when the car hit the girl.The vehicle pushed the bicycle about 15 feet and then took off without even stopping to check on the child's condition.
Deputies did not release the child's condition or her name.Anyone who has information is asked to call Eagle County Crime Stoppers at 970-328-7007 or online at tipsubmit.com. If your tip leads to an arrest and indictment, you could earn up to a $1,000 reward.
