DENVER -- At a time when Denver's City Council is looking for ways to save money, one part of the budget is getting a boost.Graffiti removal and prevention, named as a top priority for the council, would get an extra $250,000 in the mayor's proposed budget. The money would help streamline and coordinate a citywide effort to fight graffiti, as well as pay for enhanced technology, if needed."Perhaps the study will find it's more efficient if we have one database so all the agencies now involved can talk," said Neddia Niblet with Denver Partners Against Graffiti.
The money would also pay for anti-graffiti programs for youth to give them other creative outlets.
