UPDATED: 6:47 pm MDT September 15, 2008

Arapahoe County sheriff's deputies said a 19-year-old girl kicked a deputy as they were breaking up a house party Saturday night.

Deputies said they were called to a home in the 20000 block of East Caley Drive and found a party with underage drinkers.

Thirty-five people were detained, most of whom were cooperative, said Sheriff Grayson Robinson.

One girl however refused to obey deputy's orders and was placed in handcuffs and escorted out of the basement to the main floor of the home where she kicked one deputy, Robinson said.

The teen, Lauren M. Brooks, 19, was arrested on charges of second-degree assault, obstructing a peace officer and underage drinking.

Her bond was set at $6,000.

Grayson said 11 minors were cited for underage drinking and released.
