Coroner: Gunshot To Head Killed Prosecutor
Sean May Also Shot In Left Abdomen

DENVER -- The Denver coroner says a prosecutor who was ambushed and killed outside his home last month died of a gunshot wound to his head. The coroner said Thursday that Adams County Deputy District Attorney Sean May was also shot in the left side of his abdomen, and that his death was a homicide.The coroner issued the statement after "numerous requests regarding the cause and manner" of May's death.
No one has been arrested, and police have not said whether May was killed because of his work. The 37-year-old May worked in Adams County but lived in northwest Denver. His wife, Corin, is pregnant with their first child. He was killed Aug. 27. Police said the assailant was probably waiting for him.
