Police suspect a shooting that injured two people in northeast Denver Sunday night was gang related.

According to police, some in a dark-colored Ford Bronco fired at a pedestrian near Bruce Randolph Avenue and Madison Street just after 7 p.m. Sunday. The pedestrian was hit in the foot.

Police spotted a vehicle matching the description of the one involved in the shootout and chased it to 35th Avenue and Glencoe where two people jumped out.

A man was found a short time later near 33rd Avenue and Grape Street, suffering from a gunshot wound in the shoulder.

Police believe the two men knew each other.
