COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- Police were called to the intersection of Bijou Street and Cascade Avenue just before 7 p.m. Monday on a report of a fight. They found a man unconscious and paramedics attempted to revive without success.

A half-hour after the man was found, witnesses pointed out a man and said he was involved.

Matthrew Rowland, 48, was arrested on suspicion of first-degree murder.

The dead man has not been identified and investigators are awaiting an autopsy to determine how he died.
