New Lawsuit Filed Against Denver Archdiocese

DENVER -- Advocates for victims of sex abuse said another lawsuit is being filed against the Archdiocese of Denver.The Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests said Wednesday the latest case involves a man identified only as John Doe. He alleges he was abused by the late priest Harold White at St. Catherine's parish in Denver in the 1960s.Last month, three other people filed lawsuits against the archdiocese alleging abuse by White.
White was named in the bulk of the 18 sexual abuse cases the archdiocese settled this summer for $5.5 million. The archdiocese also released documents detailing allegations against White.
