DENVER -- An Eagle woman is behind bars after deputies said she shot her husband in the arm Saturday night.

Eagle County sheriffs deputies said they received a 911 call from Erin Stephens saying that she shot Anthony Sincebaugh, her husband, in the arm.

Sincebaugh, 40, was taken to a local hospital for treatment. His injuries are not life-threatening.

Stephens was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment, first-degree assault, prohibited use of a weapon while intoxicated and domestic violence, said spokeswoman Shannon Cordingly.

The district attorney will review the case and may charge Stephens with first-degree attempted murder, Cordingly said.

She is being held in the Eagle County Detention Facility on a no-bond hold.
