A asphalt roller tipped off a flat-bed trailer and onto a worker in Westminster Wednesday.

Firefighters said the man was trapped under the roller.

"One leg was pinned between the roller and the curb," said Capt. Bob Hose. "He suffered severe leg trauma."

Firefighters were able to use inflatable bags to lift the roller and remove the victim.

He was then taken by Flight For Life to a nearby hospital.
