DENVER -- An Evans woman was killed after her BMW rolled several times early Sunday morning. The Colorado State Patrol said the driver, Autumn Jansen, was driving on Isabelle Road one mile west of Highway 287 when her BMW went off the right side of the road for 125 feet and crashed into a construction barrel before she overcorrected and ran off the left side of the road, rolling three times.Jansen, 20, was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car, said Master Trooper Ron Watkins of the Colorado State Patrol.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.A passenger, Kelley Kampman, also from Evans, was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital with moderate injuries. Kapman, 20, was wearing a seat belt, Watkins said. The patrol said they suspect alcohol or drugs to be a contributing factor in the crash. Toxicology tests are pending, Watkins said.
