Former Boulder Resident Steven Thomas Missing On Island Since June 30

There is still hope for missing Honolulu millionaire Steven Thomas, 36.

Thomas is a former resident of Boulder where he founded the software company Webroot Software Inc. Thomas sold the company in 2004. He and his wife, Candis, moved to Lanikai in 2007.

His wife pleaded for his return earlier in the week.

"I'm pretty much beside myself desperate," said his wife.

Sgt. Kim Bennett, of Honolulu's CrimeStoppers, said there are fliers all over the island and so far they seem to be working.

"We do have a handful of calls each day. People have seen him a week ago, people have seen him days ago...hours ago," said Bennett.

Bennett said many of the sightings occurred around Kailu. The location, Bennett said, is near where the couple lives.

In Boulder, the company he founded waits for news that Thomas is located.

"You know the entire Webroot community is very concerned about Steve’s well-being. We’ll do anything to support Steve and his family through this time," said Bob Berger, with Webroot.

Thomas sold his stake in the company in 2004.
