Female Golfer Hit By Lightning

Two Nurses Performed CPR

A woman playing golf in Durango was hit by lightning Wednesday, according to the Durango Herald newspaper.

The woman was playing at the Dalton Ranch Golf Club when she was hit on the 12th hole.

The newspaper reports the woman was knocked unconscious and was not breathing after the strike.

Two nurses performed CPR.

According to the club manager, when the ambulance arrived, the victim was conscious and talking.

The victim's name and age are not being released.

Dalton Ranch Golf Club is nine miles north of Durango off U.S. Highway 550 at 589 County Road 252.
