Major T-REX Closures Coming Up Friday
On Ramp To I-225 From I-25 To Close

DENVER -- There are some major T-REX closures coming up that you need to know about if you commute on Interstate 25 and Interstate 225.
Starting at 7 p.m. Friday, T-REX crews will close the I-25 northbound ramp to I-225 so they can lay pavement. It will remain closed until 5:30 a.m. Monday.
The Belleview on-ramp to northbound I-25 will also be closed during those times.
Then on Sunday, from 7 a.m. to 11:30 p.m., the Colorado Boulevard off-ramp from northbound I-25 will be closed while crews install a sanitary sewer line beneath the off-ramp.
The next full freeway closure will happen on Sept. 29. I-25 between Hampden and Santa Fe will be closed for work on the Washington Street Bridge, which is scheduled to re-open in November.
T-REX is $1.67 billion project is meant to widen highways and improve drainage and bridges along 17 miles of I-25 and I-225. It will also build a 19-mile extension of the region's light rail transit.
