Aurora, Colo. -- Wednesday evening's thunderstorms sparked a brush fire around Aurora Reservoir.Special fire trucks responded to the scene around 10 p.m. The trucks helped haul water to remote areas. The fire was burning on the east side of the reservoir, said Aurora Fire Capt. Mark Turley.
Fire crews from several departments helped battle the wildfire. No homes were threatened by the fire.Crews estimated the blaze burned between 50 and 100 acres. Crews didn't have an exact size, because it was too dark to survey the damage, said Turley.
