Olney Springs Residents Told To Boil Town Water

OLNEY SPRINGS, Colo. -- Olney Springs officials said they expect a boil order for town water should be over later Monday. Residents of the town east of Pueblo were asked to boil their water over the weekend after a problem with the town's water system. Crowley County commissioners said there was a malfunction in the mechanical system used to chlorinate the well water. Officials say a new pump was ordered and should arrive sometime Monday
Residents have been using treated water from two storage tanks. They were notified by reverse 911 calls.
