A teacher's aid at a Jefferson County elementary school pleaded guilty to one count of internet luring of a child Tuesday.

Frank Pierce, 31, was arrested in November 2007 following an undercover investigation in which Pierce used sexually explicit language online to someone he believed to be an underage teen, but who was actually an undercover D.A. investigator, said Pam Russell of the Jefferson County District Attorney's Office.

Pierce met the person he believed was a young teen in a chat room frequented by kids, Russell said.

He used sexually graphic language describing what he wanted to do to the person he believed to be a young teen as well as suggested and discussed their meeting for the purposes of sexual contact, she said.

Pierce was a teacher's aid at Stober Elementary School in Lakewood. He was also a girls basketball coach in a youth recreation league.

Pierce will be sentenced on Aug. 8. He could potentially face up to six years in prison.
