Police: Woman Sexually Assaulted In Alley

DENVER -- Police in Colorado Springs said a 20-year-old woman reported she was sexually assaulted in an alley Thursday night.

The woman told police she was walking from the Rendezvous Lounge to her car that was parked in the Antlers parking garage around 1:30 a.m., police said.

While walking down the alley, she was approached by a man who grabbed her and forced her to the ground, said Lt. Santos of the Colorado Springs Police Department.

The man assaulted the woman for about 10 minutes before leaving her, Santos said.

The victim described the man as Hispanic in his late 20s, 6 feet 3 inches tall, heavy set with short black hair in a buzz cut and a light complexion with freckles. The man also had a crooked front tooth and lettering tattooed on his left forearm.
