Police Investigate Early-Morning Slaying
Man Dies From Multiple Gunshot Wounds

DENVER -- Aurora police are asking for the public's help in finding the gunmen who killed a man early Saturday morning.Police found a man in his mid-30s suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body in the 15400 block of East 13th Avenue around 4 a.m., said police spokeswoman Detective Shannon M. Lucy.The man was taken to a local hospital, where he died shortly after 5 a.m., she said.
Detectives from the Major Crime/Homicide Unit began their investigation into the shooting by canvassing the neighborhood, interviewing witnesses and writing search warrants, Lucy said.Aurora police are offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the identification and charging of any suspects.Anyone with information on the case is asked to call police at 303-739-6090.
