UPDATED: 11:54 am MDT May 15, 2008

Three adults were arrested in Evans, Colo., Tuesday, on suspicion of giving a 12-year-old girl alcohol, the Greeley Tribune reported in its Thursday editions.

According to the report, the girl's mother found her 12-year-old lying on the floor of a friend's apartment. Sgt. Chad Harding said her blood-alcohol level at one point was 0.20 -- four times the level for impaired driving.

The girl was treated at North Colorado Medical Center and told police where she'd gotten the alcohol.

Arrested for investigation of contributing to the delinquency of a minor were Gilbert Snedigar, 57, Herbert Eala, 56, and Sarah Nicole Wrede, 23, the Tribune reported.

It's not known how the three adults know the 12-year-old or why she went to their apartment on Tuesday.
