Tonight is the season finale of "The Bachelor: London Calling."Matt takes Chelsea and Shayne to England to meet his parents. Then the three return to Barbados where Matt proposed to one woman and lets the other go.According to ABC, Chelsea is a 25-year-old pharmaceutical sales representative from Durango. She now lives in Santa Barbara, Calif.
Shayne is the daughter of actor Lorenzo Lamas. She's 22 years old and an actress.According to The Futon Critic, an entertainment Web site, Matt invites Chelsea and Shayne to London to meet his family -- his mother, Trish, his father, Tony, and brother, Simon.Then, Matt returns to Barbados for his final two dates.The Futon Critic is reporting that Chelsea takes this last opportunity to pour out her feelings for Matt and gives him a heartfelt gift: a California Survival Kit with items representative of their future life together.Shayne also professes her love for Matt and gives him a photo gift of her spelling out "I love you" in the sand.Matt chooses a Tacori engagement ring, valued at $60,000.Then he meets with each woman. The Futon Critic is reporting that Matt gets down on one knee and offers one woman his final rose and an engagement ring with a life-changing proposal.According to ABC'S Web site, "Matt faces an excruciating decision between Chelsea and Shayne before making the commitment of his life, in the gripping season finale."The Web site Reality TV World interviewed Matt last week. He told them while he's "not a big advocate" of love at first sight, participating in "The Bachelor" made him a believer.Matt said "As far as the important decision, I didn't make any mistakes. I definitely know the one I'm with is the right one. If there were a few mistakes along the way then I made them. But ultimately -- fundamentally -- I made the right decision."Matt told reporters that since the proposal the couple has talked often and had lots of secret rendezvous.He said, "We're both looking forward to Monday evening when we can go out together and start life normally."So what has he said about Colorado's Chelsea?He said she appeals to him because she's very sporty and outgoing and athletic.See who gets the proposal Monday night on 7NEWS at 9 p.m.
