COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. -- A pit bull is in quarantine after attacking three people Thursday night in Colorado Springs.

The Colorado Springs police blotter reports two adults from Ohio arrived at their family's home on Montbello Drive in Colorado Springs around 9 p.m.

They were planning to move in with family members.

They were on their way into the house through the garage when they were confronted by a 2-year-old pit bull.

Police said both adults were bitten on their legs.

A woman living in the home tried to pull the dog away and was also bitten.

The adults from Ohio were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

The pit bull will stay in quarantine while the Humane Society investigates.
