ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- A girl said a man tried to lure her into his SUV while she was walking in Englewood.

It happened on Tuesday around 3:50 p.m. near W. Tufts Ave. and S. Lowell Blvd.

The 10-year-old girl reported the man was driving a black Suzuki SUV. She was able to run away but said she has seen the man in the area near schools.

The girl described the man as older with gray, short hair, wearing a black short-sleeve shirt and tan pants. She was able to give police enough information to create a composite sketch.

The girl believed the man may have a scar under his right eye.

Sheridan police are also investigating an attempted kidnapping and will be consulting with Englewood police on its investigation to see if there are any connections.
