Aurora police have released a composite sketch of the man they believe attacked a woman and left her to die in a field.

The woman was repeatedly stabbed on April 26. She was left in a remote area near Denver International Airport, at 56th Avenue and E-470, but a person driving by found her on the side of the road, and brought her to DIA where police were called.

The woman had met the assailant in Denver before she was assaulted, police said.

The suspect is a white man in his early 20s with thick, dark eyebrows and a mole under one eye, authorities said. He is believed to still be in the Denver area.

Aurora police are offering a reward of up to $1,000 for any information leading to the man's arrest.

Investigators believe that there may be more witnesses who were driving in the area of 56 Avenue near DIA at the time this crime occurred who might have information that would help the investigation.

Anyone with information about this case contact Detective Scott Burgess at 303-739–6064.
