Longmont Mother Disappears; Police Ask For Help

LONGMONT, Colo. -- A Longmont mother has been missing since April 29 and police are concerned about her welfare.According to police, Christine Rae Alenezi, 34, dropped off her nine-year-old son at school that day but didn't return to pick him up. She was last seen around 2 p.m. the same day at her apartment in to 600 block of Martin."Ms. Alenzi has never failed to pick up her child from school and we are concerned for her safety," said Detective Craig Earhart. "We have been unable to locate or determine her whereabouts and need the public's help on this one."
Police said that foul play is not currently suspected but the manner of her disappearance raises concern.The missing woman's son is in the custody of the Department of Social Services while police continue their investigation.Christine Alenezi is described as a white female, 5 feet 4 inches tall, weighing between 110 and 140 pounds, with brown hair, and green eyes.Anyone with information regarding her disappearance, or who thinks they may have seen her is asked to call Detective Dave Moore at 303-651-8956, or call the Longmont Police Department at 303-651-8501.
