Woman Assaulted, Left In Field
Good Samaritan Found Victim Near E470

AURORA, Colo. -- Police said a woman was assaulted and left in a field near E470 Saturday morning.A driver noticed the woman on the side of the road near 56th Avenue and E470 and picked her up, said Detective Robert Friel of the Aurora Police Department.The driver took the woman to Denver International Airport where she contacted police and was treated for injuries.
The woman is recovering at an undisclosed location, Friel said.Investigators said they believe the woman met her assailant in Denver before she was assaulted.Detectives are actively pursuing leads, but at this time, they do not have a suspect.Anyone with information about this case is asked to contact Aurora police at 303-739-6050.
