Fuel Additive Spill Prompts Buckley Evacuations

A spill of approximately 100 gallons of a fuel detergent additive was reported at at Buckley Air Force Base Tuesday morning.

The spill occurred at 7:15 a.m. Tuesday at Bldg. 200.

As a precaution, several units of the Base family housing and the Canine Kennels area were evacuated to other areas on base. The spill was confined to government property.

Damage is expected to be minimal.
