Suspect Named In Bar Shooting
Police Say Man Is 'Armed, Dangerous'

ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. -- Authorities have identified a suspect they believe is responsible for killing a man at a bar.Juan David Salinas, 27, of Westminster, is wanted by deputies in connection with the shooting, said Sgt. Candi Baker of the Adams County Sheriff's Office.Salinas is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He is bald, with a prominent birthmark on the left side of his face near the jaw-line.
Juan Salinas should be considered armed and dangerous, Baker said.On Jan. 27 deputies were dispatched to Stein's Tavern, 7069 Pecos St., at about 6:50 p.m. on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, they found a man in front of the bar with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.Anyone with any information about this shooting or the whereabouts of Juan Salinas is asked to call the Adams County Sheriff's Office at 720-322-1313.
