ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. -- Authorities have identified a suspect they believe is responsible for killing a man at a bar.

Juan David Salinas, 27, of Westminster, is wanted by deputies in connection with the shooting, said Sgt. Candi Baker of the Adams County Sheriff's Office.

Salinas is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He is bald, with a prominent birthmark on the left side of his face near the jaw-line.

Juan Salinas should be considered armed and dangerous, Baker said.

On Jan. 27 deputies were dispatched to Stein's Tavern, 7069 Pecos St., at about 6:50 p.m. on a report of shots fired. Upon arrival, they found a man in front of the bar with an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
