How You Can Help With Colorado Wildfires

The American Red Cross is accepting donations that help the victims of the Colorado wildfires and support the work of our heroic firefighters. Just call (303) 722-7474 or go to log on to Red Cross - Mile High Chapter to donate.

The Salvation Army is collecting several items for firefighters working on the front lines. Sports drinks, power bars, lip balm, bandanas, sunscreen, goggles, eye drops, socks, foot powder, boot insoles, pillows, deodorant, antacids, painkillers, flashlights, chewing gum, and heavy work gloves are needed.

Collection bins are located at all metro-area Wal-Marts.

Help Evacuated Animals

Colorado State Vet Dr. John Maulsby is heading a national effort to bring animal feed and supplies into the area. The veterinarian is organizing supplies for the Jefferson County, Douglas County, and Pueblo Fairgrounds.
