3 Formally Charged In Girl's Shooting Death

POSTED: 5:21 am MST December 18, 2007

Three men are due in court Wednesday after being formally charged in the shooting death of a 10-year-old Denver girl.

Juvencio Hernandez, Trivi Trujillo, and Juvenico Hernandez, all 19, were advised Monday that they each face one count each of first-degree murder in the Nov. 26 death of Auralia Cisneros.

The girl was shot in the head during a gun battle between the three and her father, Leo "Mickey" Cisneros, according to police. Police believe Auralia was hit by a stray bullet. No charges have been filed against the father.

The men are accused of trying to rob the family in their apartment at 4711 W. Tennessee Ave.

The files on the three men have been sealed and police have not said who fired the shot that killed the girl. Photographs of the three men have not been released because the investigation is continuing.
