Aspen Drama Teacher In Court On Child Porn Charges

DENVER -- An Aspen High School drama teacher facing felony charges over child porn allegedly found on his home computer will be back in court Monday.Bradford Moore, 49, was arrested last November after Pitkin County sheriff's deputies said they found 150 pornographic videos and pictures of girls ages 5 to 16 on his computer. More than 110 of the still images depicted sexual acts with children, according to investigators.Moore faces charges of sexual exploitation of a child and will attend a preliminary hearing Monday afternoon in preparation for a December trial. He faces a possible prison sentence of two to six years and a fine of $2,000 to $500,000. He would have to register as a sex offender, if convicted.
Moore is the co-founder and president of Aspen Stage. He is also on the boards of both Aspen Community Theatre and the Colorado Community Theatre Coalition.Moore has worked for the Aspen School District for 11 years as the theater manager and drama teacher at the high school and middle school.
