LITTLETON, Colo. -- It's been an agonizing day for countless Rockies fans, especially for Topher Hagemeier of Littleton. He was one of a handful of fans who were able to get through to the Rockies Web site and purchase tickets."To my huge excitement," Hagemeier said, "the Web page turned. I was going to the World Series!"
He was assigned tickets for section 239, row 1, seats 13, 14, 15 & 16."My dream seats," said the diehard fan.He typed in his credit card information, then hit send, and waited, and waited, and waited some more."It wouldn't give me the confirmation," a disappointed Hagemeier said."I'm really torn right now," he added. "I feel incredibly lucky because I'm looking at these tickets on my screen, and really scared that I'm never going to see them."Hagemeier downloaded the seat assignment page and credit card transaction page onto his personal computer as proof of the transaction."I hope there's something they (the Rockies) can do for us.""I tried to call them, but the phone lines were busy," he said. "That's why I called 7NEWS."When 7NEWS asked the Rockies about Hagemeier's situation, Jay Alves, vice president of communications and public relations said, "If the transaction was not confirmed, his tickets are not confirmed."Hagemeier now lives in Littleton, but he was born in Boston."Rooting for the Rockies with the Sox, what a game! What a game! You don't get better than that."He said he's keeping his fingers crossed and is hoping that Rockies will sell him the tickets.
