Report: Teens' Hands Partly Severed Playing Tug-O-War

Two juniors at Lutheran High School had their hands partially severed during a tug-of-war at a pep rally Friday, according to a report in the Rocky Mountain News.

Neither of the students has been identified, but they were both members of the junior football team, the newspaper reported. It was unclear how the accident happened but it occurred during a pep rally in the gym in advance of a homecoming game Saturday night.
