Teen In Lafayette Woman's Slaying May Plea Bargain
Tess Damm Pleads Not Guilty In Mother's Slaying

BOULDER, Colo. -- The teenager accused of stabbing his girlfriend's mother to death may get a plea bargain that will spare him a life prison sentence, the Boulder Daily Camera reported Friday.Bryan Grove, 18, appeared in court Friday morning with his girlfriend, Tess Damm, 16, but his plea in the case was postponed so that his lawyers could talk to prosecutors about his first-degree murder charge.Damm, meanwhile, entered a not-guilty plea to a charge of first-degree murder and her trial was set for Feb. 18.
The decomposing body of Linda Damm, 52, of Lafayette, Colo., was found Feb. 27 in the trunk of her Subaru, parked in the driveway of the home she shared with her daughter. Police believe she was killed in late January.Police had been alerted by neighbors who said they hadn't seen Linda Damm in several weeks and there were wild parties going on in her home.Grove was 17, and Tess Damm was 15, at the time of their arrests.Click here to read the full story from the Boulder Daily Camera.
