FLORISSANT, Colo. -- A 130-acre wildfire in Teller County that destroyed a house and forced 10 families to flee was expected to be contained Wednesday.

Citizens are asked to use extreme caution when in the forest; fully extinguishing campfires to ensure they are fully doused and cool to the hand; ensuring cigarettes, matches, etc, are fully extinguished, having spark arrestors on mechanical equipment and vehicles; and quickly reporting any indications of fire.
