DENVER -- It appears that the old Mile High stadium will always live on in Denver.
Transportation officials said Tuesday that parts of the beloved stadium will return to Denver as part of the light rail and Interstate 25 expansion project, known as T-REX.
The final pieces of the Broncos former stadium came down last month and now, they're being melted into part for the new light rail line that will run along Interstate 25.
About 7,000 tons of steel are being transformed at the Rocky Mountain steel mill in Pueblo.
