GOLDEN, Colo. -- The trial of Vincent "Don Vito" Margera of MTV's "Viva La Bam" has been delayed until October, but Margera is facing 12 new charges in addition to child sexual assault. The 50-year-old Margera was scheduled to stand trial starting Monday in Jefferson County for allegedly touching or grabbing the buttocks of a 12-year-old girl, and the breasts of two girls, ages 12 and 14. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges, which stemmed from alleged incidents at the Colorado Mills Mall skate park last August. Margera was in Colorado for promotional appearances at the time.
He's now facing an additional 12 felony counts of violating his bond conditions, according to prosecutors. No details have been released, and district attorney's spokeswoman Pam Russell declined comment.Conditions of Margera's bail included having no contact with children under 18, consuming no drugs or alcohol and providing detailed information on business travel plans. He pleaded not guilty to the sexual assault charges and is free on $50,000 bond, which allowed him to return to his hometown of West Chester, Pa. A hearing on the bond-violation charges has been scheduled for Sep. 5. His sexual assault trial has been rescheduled for Oct. 22 in Jefferson County.
