BOULDER, Colo. -- Have you ever wondered why we are instantly attracted to some people and repelled by others?

According to a new book by best-selling psychic Pamala Oslie, it's all about their aura.

It took her about 30 seconds to read my aura when we met at Exhibitrek in Boulder.

"You've just got so much violet, yellow and some blue. You just came in big," said Oslie.

In Oslie's new book, Love Colors, she offers a unique approach to finding and keeping the love of your life by learning their love colors and identifying your own.

"Once you understand what their priorities are then we can get along better, be nicer, more patient and talk their language more," said Oslie.

Here's a quick description of how the book describes auras.

Yellows are fun-loving, playful and creative.

Tans are analytical, practical and typically skeptics.

Greens are driven, type-A workaholics.

Blues are loving, nurturing, emotional and cry easily.

Violets are dynamic visionaries, inspirational leaders and global humanitarians.

Reds are extremely powerful and strong-willed.

Oslie says red in the outer bands, though, can indicate rage or emotional instability.

Oslie's list of famous yellows includes Jennifer Anniston and Goldie Hahn.

She said Brad Pit is a tan, while Angelina Jolie is a Violet.

Donald Trump, Oslie said, is a classic green, while Madonna screams red.

Oslie says the colors don't limit you, they give you the freedom and permission to be true to who you really are and find who you're meant to be with.

She says typically blues and violets are most compatible, while yellows and greens are least compatible.

But different auras can get along and fall in love as long as they understand each other's preferences and limitations.

So, can you change your aura color?

Oslie says not likely, since it reflects your personality, although colors may be added to your aura during the course of your life.
