Police Say Pimp Branded Teenage Girl
Man Accused Of Prostituting Teen Girls

PHOENIX -- Phoenix police said a man arrested Tuesday night in a child prostitution sting branded one of the girls he was pimping.Vice detectives said 40-year-old Shawn Bailey was actively prostituting three girls between the ages of 14 and 17 and at least two adult women.Charmaine Lee, 22, is accused of running the prostitution ring with Bailey.
Bailey and Lee were arrested Tuesday evening, and detectives said they concluded their several-month investigation by serving a search warrant Wednesday night.The two face charges of child prostitution, pandering and operating an illegal enterprise.Bailey faces additional charges including receiving the earnings of prostitution and aggravated assault. Police said the assault charge stems from the branding of one of the teens.
