The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office is looking for at least one car thief responsible for stealing a man's car and then trying to cash a money order that belonged to the car's owner.

A man said he started his car to let it warm up and went back inside his home on East Highline Circle in Centennial, said Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson.

A witness told police he saw a man jump out of a car and into the victim's and drive off.

Police said they believe the thief later tried to cash a money order belonging to the car's owner that was left in the car.

Surveillance videos were released of the car thief, wearing a black shirt, trying to cash the money order. The man in the red shirt is also believed to be involved.

Anyone with information on the identity of the thiefs is asked to contact the sheriff's office at 303-795-4711.
