DENVER -- The Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office is looking for at least one car thief responsible for stealing a man's car and then trying to cash a money order that belonged to the car's owner.

A man said he started his car to let it warm up and went back inside his home on East Highline Circle in Centennial, said Arapahoe County Sheriff Grayson Robinson.

A witness told police he saw a man jump out of a car and into the victim's and drive off.

Police said they believe the thief later tried to cash a money order belonging to the car's owner that was left in the car.

Surveillance videos were released of the car thief, wearing a black shirt, trying to cash the money order. The man in the red shirt is also believed to be involved.
