Parents Arrested In Their Infant's Death
10-Week-Old Suffered 28 Broken Bones

DENVER -- The parents of a 10-week-old boy who suffered 28 broken bones were arrested on child abuse charges more than one year after the infant's death.Alex and Molly Midyette brought their 10-week-old son, Jason Midyette, to a hospital on Feb. 24, 2006. The 8-pound baby had 28 broken bones including a fractured skull. He died 10 days later after being taken off life support.Arrest warrants for the Midyettes were issued and the couple surrendered at the Boulder County Jail Tuesday afternoon, a spokesman said.
Alex and Molly Midyette were both charged with child abuse resulting in death among other charges. They both posted bail Tuesday night.Both are set to appear in court on Wednesday at the Boulder District Court.
