A California man, convicted of criminally negligent homicide in the death of a Vail, Colo., skier, is behind on the $18,000 restitution payments he was ordered to pay as part of his sentence.
Nathan Hall, 23 (pictured, right), collided with Alan Cobb, 33, on Vail's Lower Riva Ridge Run in 1997. Cobb died of massive head injuries as a result of the accident.
Hall is currently serving three years probation as a result of his conviction.
The Eagle County probation office filed a complaint against Hall Thursday.
Once a judge signs the complaint, a summons will be served on Hall to appear in court.
At that hearing, the judge could revoke Hall's probation, or reprimand him for not keeping up with the restitution payments.
