Home Of Slain Lafayette Mother Up For Sale
Family Members Upset With Death Certificate Date

LAFAYETTE, Colo. -- The home of a Lafayette mother stabbed to death and left in the trunk of her car for nearly a month is on the sale block now. The family of 52-year-old Linda Damm has removed the woman's belongings and has put the house up for sale. Many of her possessions will be offered at a yard sale this summer and the proceeds will go to an animal-rescue project. Damm's body was found in February in the back of her car at her home. Police believe she was killed in her home in late January or early February.
Her 15-year-old daughter, the daughter's boyfriend and two of his friends were all charged in connection with the slaying. One of the teens has pleaded guilty to being an accessory.Damm family members are also upset the death certificate for Linda Damm reads Feb. 28 -- the day investigators found her body. An autopsy concluded she died about a month earlier.
