While some 45 people have been treated and released, 12 people shot at a theater in Aurora last Friday remain in critical to fair condition nearly one week after the deadly attack.
The shooting victims ranged in age from 4 months old to 45 years old. Many of them were transported to the hospital by police officers who took action to get help while waiting for ambulances to arrive at the scene. A dozen people died in the attack.
University of Colorado Hospital said Thursday it is still treating five people. Four of those people are in critical condition and the fifth person is in serious condition.
Medical Center of Aurora also has five patients-- one is in critical condition, four are in fair condition.
Swedish Hospital is treating two people who are in fair condition.
Children's Hospital Colorado released its last two patients from the shooting, both adults, on Thursday.
Denver Health Medical Center and Parker Adventist have treated and released all of the shooting victims transported to their facilities.
