Learn To Make Flower Essences
Recipe From Herbalist Christine Blume
Flower essences are a form of vibrational or energetic medicine as is
acupuncture and homeopathy.
Unlike homeopathy however, flower essences
cannot be antidoted with coffee, mint or other strong flavors or scents.
Flower essences are a small one-ounce bottle of liquid with a dropper top.
They are filled with water which has been energetically imprinted with the
properties of a particular flower by the sun. Brandy and /or vegetable
glycerin is added as a preservative.
Flower essences treat behavioral/emotional characteristics that we would
like to work on such as fear, melancholy, jealousy, lack of motivation or
focus etc.
You don't have to "believe in" flower essences for them to be effective. The
animals and children have certainly proved that. Flower essences are not
contraindicated with any other form of health care. They will not interfere
with pharmaceuticals, herbs or homeopathy. They are safe for all people and
animals, all ages and weights, even in pregnancy. You cannot overdose with
flower essences.
The standard dose is 4 drops MINIMUM 4 times per day. You can take the
drops directly in the mouth, you can add them to your drinking water, put
them in the bath water. With animals I like to add the drops to food,
treats, in the communal water dish, rub it on their gums or drop it on their
paws so they will lick it off.
Flower essences are sold in health food stores , through many sites on the
internet, and through this webpage:

My favorite flower essences are my own blend for fear, which I call FEAR
essence. It is very effective for animals who are terrified of thunder,
fireworks etc. and people who fear flying, heights etc. I also like holly
for jealousy. This is quite helpful when your pet is jealous of a new pet
brought home or visiting pets. Trauma Remedy is an all purpose essence for
any crisis, trauma, stress, large or small. Some wonderful books on flower
essences are:
The Flower Essence Repetoire by Kaminski and Katz
Flower Essences and Vibrational Healing by Gurudas
Plant Spirit Medicine by Eliot Cowan
Flowers that Heal by Patricia Kaminsky
