Columbine Donates $20,000 To Emily Keyes' Foundation

DENVER -- Columbine High School raised $20,000, which it will donate to I Love U Guys, a foundation created by the family and friends of Emily Keyes, the teen killed at Platte Canyon High School in September 2006.The donation money came from T-shirt sales during last year's annual Emily Parade. The parade route went from Columbine High School to Platte Canyon High School.Columbine Principal, Frank DeAngelis and students from the school will present a check to Emily's parents on April 12.
The mission statement on the The I Love U Guys Foundation Web site said its purpose is to use educational programs to "restore and protect the joy of youth."If you would like to make a donation to the foundation, visit the Web site at www.iloveyouguys.org
