Tie Renting Service Helps Fashion-Challenged

Ever since the tie was first invented, it has been a source of trouble for men, but now there's a way to avoid buying any more ties or having a rack full of bad ties.

Net-Tie.com offers men the chance to rent ties each month for $50.

People who use Net-Tie.com can keep the ties as long as they want to with no late fees. They don't have to worry about dry cleaning, and as soon as they are done with the ties, they send them back in the same padded envelope in which they came.

The founder of Net-Tie.com, Martin "Scooter" Thompson, said the service helps the fashion-challenged.

"We have advice online on how to match the shirts with ties," he said.

Consumer Champ Bill Clarke said the service does come with some limitations, however.

He said there is a limited selection for men's long ties and for extreme designer ties.
